Speak at a school board meeting

The Board of Education opens part of its regular meeting for public comment. See the meetings page for the schedule, room, and agenda link.

Sign up: the district doesn’t publish a sign-up form or a deadline for speaking. Call the Central Office ahead of the meeting if you want to confirm the process, or just arrive before it starts.

Time and topic limits: you get three minutes. You can’t name or discuss an individual student or staff member during open comment — that’s blocked by student-privacy law (FERPA), not board preference. If you have a concern about a specific employee or student, take it to the superintendent’s office directly instead.
